Helle Nordlys FG is an absolute amazing full tang knife. It is made of a solid stainless steel blade and a waonderful curly birch handle. Nordlys is the smaller version of the Helle Nord knife, that personally fits too big for me. It's name means "Northern Lights" in Norwegian, elements that represents perfecly the  country in which is made. Even in this knife is a full tang, it is more reccomended to use it for light and fine works, in fact I use it for camps cooking, little bushcraft wood works, it worked with batoning too just for a test and it did his job perfectly, but I always bring with my a small or medium ax, so I don't use the knife for heavy works. This knife is really impressive, and even if it is quite expensive, I really reccomend it, as all Helle knives.

Morakniv Bushcraft Survival (S) - Hi-Vis Orange is a perfect tool for all outdoors activites. It is made by a 3.2 mm thick blade made of recycled Swedish stainless steel and by an ergonomic polymer handle features with a soft friction grip and finger guard, that makes it safe and comfortable even in wet conditions. The Survival edition has as additional tools in the sheath: a good quality ferro rod to light up a campfire, and a little sharpening stone incorporated on the side. This knife comes in different colors and blades. I have choosen the Hi-Vis Orange because it's easy to find it in the nature thanks to his bright color and his stainless steel is perfect in humid and wet places because it does't rust.

This Harding – Helle Knives is the last knife I have bought from Helle. I have already tried it in a hike and tested it with simple and more complex bushcraft works and it made the job perfectly. After the use it looks like when I took it  out of its box. Helle Harding has a strong triple laminated inox-steel blade and the handle is made from curly birch and darkened oak, separated by layers of colored leather. This is an expencive knife, but it will last even then we will be passed away, to not say for ever. The Harding comes with a beautiful and classic sheath of high-quality leather.

Grimfrost's Skeggox, Small in Old Norse means "Bearded Axe", in fact the shape of the head has the line of a man's beard. This axe has an old school look, very Vikingstyle for whom loves the genre. It has a strong handle made of ash wood, but the blade is quite thin so it is ok to be used with little sticks and not for big logs, it could twist or break. This product is hand made so there could be some differences between one and the other axe and there is written "GRIMFROST" in runic (the makers mark). It is perfect for short and daily adventures becasue it is a very light weight axe, I alwasys bring Skeggox with me in that occasion.

The Morakniv Companion Spark (S) | Fire Starter has a Skandi grind profile of the blade, that is made of Swedish stainless steel, and its spine has a 90° sharp angle to have an easy use with the ferro-rod integrated in the knife. The handle has a friction grip, at the bottom there is the integrated ferro-rod and a lanyard hole to tide a piece of paracord that comes with the knife. At the moment I have just used it at home, to do minor bushcraft hand works like feather sticks (see the photo) and it worked perfectly, so I am pretty sure this knife will make his work even in the great outdoors.

Flint and steel method is one of the oldest way to light up a fire, it has been used from Iron Age until 1800, when matches have been invented. It consists in striking the steel on the flint stone, creating sparks that can create an ember on tinder, from which we will create our fire.  To know more about this fire kit visit the link Viking Fire-Steel – Grimfrost.

Helle Viking knife – Helle B2C Europe is the perfect knife that blends together bushcraft with the old school viking style. This knife have a really old design (almost 1000 years), the wooden handle is stunning in its classic look and in the hand, the blade is thick carbo steel. Helle Viking is perfect for modern bushcraft and for living history events too. At the moment is my favourite knife, so if you are interested visit Helle webshop.

Here my first bushcraft knife, the Morakniv Kansbol with Polymer Sheath (S) | Morakniv. This is a great knife with a strong blade made with Swedish steel and a comfortable soft friction grip. I have used it for about 3 years and it still looks as new. It is a very strong knife, perfect for short and long adventures in the wilderness. Its blade is compatible with ferro-rod, so you can use your knife to start your campfire in the woods.
